Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mayurbhanj-II is the second KVK of the district which was established in March 2012 in the Angarpada village of Jasipur block which is around 105 kms away from the district head quarter i.e. Baripada along the side of the National Highway-6. The centre was set up with a vision to empower the farmers with advanced agricultural techniques and ameliorating their socio-economic status. The campus of the institute spreads over an area of 50 acres of agricultural land.
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mayurbhanj- II is mainly focused on the overall development of tribal farmers those are dominant in the region by virtue of spreading technical knowledge of agriculture and allied sector, basically focussed on gender specific and women empowerment. KVK is providing on regular basis vegetable seedlings, paddy foundation seeds, and poultry chicks etc.
